SPE Automotive Division Event Descriptions

SPE AD sponsors or co-sponsors several events throughout the year, including the:

Automotive Composites Conference: This technical conference draws over 400 attendees from OEM, component, material, and equipment supplier communities, as well as members of the press.

Innovation Awards Banquet: Nearly 1000 members of the automotive industry attend the annual Automotive Innovation Awards Gala.

Automotive Track at ANTEC: The Division sponsors a day of leading technical papers, a best paper award, and supports the Fred Scwab scholarship fund.

Annual Golf Outing: The Division sponsors an annual golf outing in mid-summer to provide networking opportunities for members and to raise funds for the Division's various educational activities.

Automotive Division Board and Event Planning Meetings: SPE members are invited to attend board meetings and are welcome to participate on committees organizing any of the annual events. Please contact our current Automotive Division chair, Tom Pickett, (e-mail: auto-div-chair@speautomotive.com ), in advance if you are interested in attending a meeting.
